FROM ARTWORK TO MONUMENT.
Born in Nîmes in 1995, Julian Cavaillé developed an instinctive connection with drawing, sculpture and visual culture as a child. Sport, sneakers, manga and the iconic works of his generation filled his earliest sketchbooks.
Self-taught, he transforms these influences into a personal language where sculpture, popular culture and movement meet. Travel and encounters inspire him to challenge the scale and perception of artworks.
Le Grand Soulier
With Le Grand Soulier, the sneaker moves beyond its original function to become a work in motion. This first work was presented at the Carrousel du Louvre in 2023 during the Paris contemporary art fair.

Eva Longoria
In 2026, a first meeting around an Air Dior opens a dialogue with the actress. A second creation, inspired by the world of Gucci, is later presented at auction and sells for €50,000.
Prince Albert II & Princess Charlene
At the Four Seasons Hotel George V, CAVART helps organise the Provale Solidarité Gala and presents two specially created works to the princely couple.
Montpellier, 2.5 metres of history
A monumental work brings together Montpellier’s figures, landmarks and symbols. Installed on Place de la Comédie, it transforms the city’s heritage into artistic material.
Among legends
Football is part of his story. From Cannes and Saint-Étienne to Poland, gala matches bring him onto the pitch with figures such as Didier Deschamps, Eden Hazard, Robert Pirès and Jean-Pierre Papin.
