Terms of sale

Version dated 8 October 2026

Exercise my right of withdrawal

1. Seller and scope

These terms govern purchases by consumers from CAVART SHOP at cavartshop.fr. The seller is CAVART, a French simplified joint-stock company (SAS) with share capital of €1,000, registered with the French National Business Register on 21 May 2024. SIREN: 928 888 098. Registered office SIRET: 928 888 098 00011. Registered office: 315 avenue Docteur Fleming, 30900 Nîmes, France. VAT number: FR00928888098. Contact: contact@cavart.art.

The terms presented before checkout apply to your order. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

2. Products and production

The Héritage collection includes Small and Mini shoe sculptures in the sizes and colours described on each product page. Each piece is made by the artist in his studio. Production time is included in the stated delivery time. Images do not limit the seller’s obligations concerning conformity. Numbering or certificates are only included if expressly stated on the product page.

3. Prices and shipping

Prices are in euros, including applicable taxes and excluding shipping. The price displayed when you confirm your order applies. Shipping within France costs €5.90 for Minis and €9.90 for Small sculptures. For orders containing both sizes, these fees add up to €15.80. The full total is shown before payment. Delivery is available only to destinations offered at checkout.

4. Orders and payment

Select the product, colour, size and quantity, then check the order summary, contact details and total. You can correct your information before confirming your obligation to pay. An account is optional. Payment is handled through Shopify checkout using the methods offered there. CAVART SHOP does not directly collect card details. An order confirmation and the applicable terms are provided by email on a durable medium.

The drop runs from 9 October 2026 at 11:30 am to 10 October 2026 at 4 pm, Paris time. This ordering window does not shorten withdrawal periods or statutory guarantees. If a product becomes unavailable after ordering, the seller informs the customer and refunds any payments for an order cancelled for this reason.

5. Delivery

Delivery takes three weeks from the order date, including production. The seller informs the customer of any difficulty. Risk normally passes when the customer or a designated third party other than the carrier takes physical possession, subject to statutory exceptions.

In case of delay, you may require delivery within a reasonable additional period and then terminate the contract under Articles L. 216-6 and L. 216-7 of the French Consumer Code. Immediate termination is possible in the circumstances provided by law. Refunds are due within fourteen days of termination.

6. Withdrawal and returns

The returns policy forms part of these terms. Making a standard catalogue piece after an order does not by itself remove the right of withdrawal. Selecting a standard size or colour is not treated as personalisation that removes that right.

7. Statutory guarantees

CAVART is responsible for the statutory guarantee of conformity and the guarantee against hidden defects. Contact contact@cavart.art or write to the registered office. The seller pays the costs necessary to bring the goods into conformity.

You have two years from delivery to invoke the guarantee of conformity. During this period you need to show the defect, not when it first appeared. Repair or replacement must be free of charge, within thirty days and without major inconvenience. Repair extends the original guarantee by six months. If you request repair but the seller imposes replacement, a new two-year guarantee runs from replacement.

You can obtain a price reduction or terminate the sale when the seller refuses repair or replacement, exceeds thirty days, causes major inconvenience, or fails to remedy the defect. A sufficiently serious defect allows an immediate reduction or termination. A minor defect does not justify termination. The guarantee is suspended while the product is held for repair or replacement. Where applicable, necessary updates and continuous digital supply are protected as provided by law.

These rights arise from Articles L. 217-1 to L. 217-32 of the French Consumer Code. Bad-faith obstruction may incur the civil penalty under Article L. 241-5. The hidden-defects guarantee under Articles 1641–1649 of the French Civil Code can be invoked within two years of discovering the defect, allowing a price reduction or a full refund against return. The full statutory French notice is included in the French terms.

8. Complaints and mediation

Send complaints to contact@cavart.art with the order reference and details of the issue. At publication, CAVART has not appointed a consumer mediator. This does not waive any consumer rights. French law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protections. Customers retain access to the courts competent under applicable law.

9. Personal data and records

Information needed for orders is used for processing, delivery and after-sales support. Data processing and customer rights are described in the privacy policy available before checkout. Electronic contracts worth at least €120 are retained for the statutory ten-year period and made available on request under Articles L. 213-1, D. 213-1 and D. 213-2 of the French Consumer Code.
